Replacing your door
Time to replace the old door?
- Old door removed
- New springs, cables & track
- Opener checked or replaced

Garage door replacement means taking the old door out completely and hanging a new one, with everything that moves it. It's the right call when the panels are rusted through, cracked in several places, or the door is an old one-piece slab that swings out into the driveway. When only one section is damaged, panel replacement or a repair may be enough, and we'll tell you.
In Huntington Beach and across Orange County we replace one-piece wood doors with modern sectional doors, swap tired steel doors for insulated ones, and fit flush and carriage-style doors on newer homes. The new door gets new springs sized to its weight, new cables and track. For door styles and options, see garage door installation.

Signs it's time
Replacement is worth pricing when:
- Bottom section rusting throughSalt air near the beach eats steel once the finish is gone.
- More than one section damagedSwapping one section works; matching several to an older door rarely does.
- An old one-piece doorHeavy, hard to service and it swings out into the driveway.
- Repairs keep coming backWhen the door itself is worn out, repairs stop lasting.
- You want a new lookA new door changes the whole front of the house.
Safety first. Never try to take down an old door yourself. The springs hold enough tension to cause serious injury, even on a door that no longer works.
