Emergency repair
It's 11 PM and the garage won't close.
- Open 24 hours, every day
- Door secured first
- Common parts on the truck

Emergency garage door repair is what Wolf was built around. We're open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, holidays included, so a door that fails after dinner or before sunrise gets the same answer as one that fails at noon: call, tell us what happened, and we'll set up the visit.
Most late-night calls fall into a few groups. A torsion spring snapped and the door won't lift. A cable came off and the door is hanging crooked. The opener died with the door wide open. Or a car caught the door and pushed it out of its track. Each one leaves either a car trapped inside or a house that can't be locked, and both are worth fixing that night.
The first job on any emergency visit is making the door safe and the house secure. Then we find what failed, give you the price, and fix it with parts from the truck whenever we can. If something has to be ordered, the door stays closed and safe until it arrives.
Door stuck open or shut right now?
Call any hour. Stay clear of the door and we'll talk you through the next few minutes.
What we handle after hours
The failures that can't wait until Monday.
Broken springs
Torsion and extension springs replaced and set to the door's weight, so the car can get out in the morning.
Snapped or loose cables
Cables re-spooled or replaced as a pair, with the drums and bottom brackets checked.
Doors stuck open
The door closed and locked down safely, then repaired on the spot or secured until parts arrive.
Dead or jammed openers
Opener faults traced and fixed, or the door set up to run by hand until a new unit goes in.
What counts as an emergency
Call now
The door won't close and the house is open, a car is trapped inside, a cable or spring is hanging loose, or the door is crooked in the opening.
Can usually wait
The door works but is noisy, slow or jerky, or a remote is acting up while the wall button still works. Book a regular visit instead.
Signs you need emergency garage door repair
Pick up the phone if any of these just happened:
- A loud bang and a door that won't liftAlmost always a broken spring. The door is now too heavy for the opener.
- The door is stuck openYour house and everything in the garage are exposed until it's closed.
- A cable is dangling at one sideThe door can drop or twist on that side if it's moved.
- The door is hanging at an angleRollers are out of the track and the door is partly unsupported.
- The opener strains, then stopsForcing it again can strip gears or bend the door.
Safety first. Don't lift a door with a broken spring or loose cable, and leave the red emergency release alone on a door that's stuck open. A released door with a failed spring can fall. Unplug the opener, keep everyone clear and call.
