The belt on an old LiftMaster opener ripped and the opener couldn't move a heavy door. Ron came out the same day and replaced it with a new Chamberlain, plus a new wall button and keypad.
In Ron's words
We have here an old LiftMaster with a belt that got ripped.
We're all done with the new opener installation. You can see the belt nice and tight, the wall button. We also added the keypad here. You can see it runs very smooth.

The problem
The belt on the homeowner's old LiftMaster ripped off, so the opener was dead and a door of about 300 pounds wasn't going anywhere.
What we did
- Took down the old LiftMaster opener.
- Installed a new Chamberlain opener and set the belt tension.
- Fitted a new wall button and added an outside keypad.
The result
The new opener runs quiet and smooth.
When to replace an older opener
Ron's advice: if your opener is more than 10 years old and getting slow, loud or struggling, replace it before it quits. That way you pick the day, not the opener.
