A German-engineered direct-drive opener with a single moving part. Whisper-quiet and built to last.
About This Opener
The Sommer 1042V001 Direct Drive takes a different approach: the motor travels along a stationary chain, so there’s only one moving part. That means less to wear out, less maintenance, and very quiet, smooth operation. There are no belts or chains to tension or replace over time.
It includes anti-theft locking and is built in Germany to a high durability standard, a great pick for homeowners who want a set-and-forget opener.
